JESUS LOPEZ VARGAS Jesus Lopez is a 22 year old multidisciplinary artist and an aspiring producer of performance art. He has professional experience as a stage & portrait photographer, production stage manager, lighting designer, journalist, translator, graphic designer, and publicity artist.
He is currently studying at the University of California, Irvine in the M.F.A. Stage Management program. He recently graduated with a B.F.A. in Technical Theater with a concentration in Stage Management from the University of Texas at El Paso. In the Summers of 2017 and 2018 he has been contracted as one of two Production Stage Managers at the Monomoy Theater in Chatham, MA, and is currently the Production Manager for K.B. Theatre Company. He made his directorial debut with RED in April 2017, an intimate performance-poetry production that dealt with issues of pain and healing, with a conceptual style of a confessionary circle.
